Written critics: Um den 2. Platz streiten sich die beiden alten Rivalen Nero v. Oranienburg und Brummbär v. Wielandslust. Brummbär zeigt sich heute schlecht, so daß er das Plus, das er in Hamburg 1924 und in Danzig 1925 seinem alten Gegner gegenüber besaß, nicht mehr in die Waagschale werfen kann. Beide Rüden sind gleichwertig, so daß auf Vorschlag des Herrn Gäbler, das Los für Nero entschied. Daß Brummbär von seinem Sohn Crassus geschlagen wurde, ist nur ein Kompliment für ihn.

Er hat noch gröberen Kopf als Nero, unschönen Nasenrücken, helleres Auge, schreitet auch etwas bodeneng und hat nicht den trockenen Körper des andern, aber in der Schönheit der Behaarung ist er ihm über und schließlich gibt die große rassige Gesamtnote den Ausschlag für ihn.

Written critics: Der Rüde ist diesmal in prächtiger Haarkondition, doch zeigt er sich im Gangwerk infolge der anstrengenden Reise - er war direkt von der Bahn in den Ring gekommen - schlechter als in Hamburg. Die bärenhafte Gesamterscheinung Brummbärs entscheidet wieder zu seinen Gunsten.
