Written critics: Bundessieger 1966. Ein brauner Rüde mit leider seht schlechter Gangart. Er hat ein kräftiges Skelett und einen maskulinen Kopf. Die Ohren sind richtig angesetzt, die Augen hellbraun. Hals- und Rückenlinie sind gut, Brust und Rumpf sind tief, Schulterlage ist gut. Er hat eine gute Erscheinung, braunes (hellerer Ton) sehr dichtes Haarkleid und ein gutes Gebiss. Vorhand ist gut gewinkelt, er tritt in den Fesseln sehr stark durch und kann hinten kaum stehen.

Written critics: Für sein Alter von 18 Monaten ungewöhnlich gut ausgebildeter, bärenhafte Rüde von brauner Farbe; eine typische Erscheinung. Klar proportioniert, sehr kräftiges Knochengerüst mit ausreichender, wenn auch nicht voll gestraffter Bemuskelung. Fließende, jedoch noch etwas federnde Rückenlinie, die auf Druck nachgibt. Schön gerundete Kruppe mit richtig angesetzter Rute, die gut und ruhig getragen wird. Die Brust weist eine gute Tiefe und Breite auf. Vor- und Nachhand sind richtig gewinkelt, die Sprunggelenke bereits kräftig ausgebildet. Förderndes Gangwerk, jedoch geringe Neigung zu Hackenenge. Typisch maskulin geprägter Kopf von guter Bereite. Ohren richtig angesetzt und von richtiger Länge. Hellbraune Augen zur Farbe der Behaarung passen. Einwandfreies Scherengebiss; die Lefzen sollten straffer sein. Sehr üppiges, gut gepflegtes Haarkleid.
