Written critics: Carmen ist eine typische, mittelgroße Hündin mit fließender Rückenlinie und für die Rumpfbreite richtiger Knochenstärke. Tiefe, breite Brust. Die einwandfrei gestellten und gewinkelten Läufe entwickeln ausgreifende und fördernde Bewegungen bei leichter Hackenenge. Das Kopfbild zeigt typisch feminine Prägung, dunkelbraune Augen, die unteren Schneidezähne 1,6 sind leicht vorgedrückt, sonst Scherengebiss, leicht offene Belefzung, schlichte gut pigmentierte Behaarung mit reichlicher Befederung der Läufe.

Der Rücken gibt, trotz kürzlichem Wurf, nur wenig nach, richtig angesetzte und getragene Rute, tiefe und breite Brust, Schultern gut gebunden. Vorhand und Nachhand in Stellung und Winkelung korrekt. Ausgiebiges Gangwerk, etwas hakeneng. Durch den Wurf sehr stark abgehaart, in guter Kondition.
