In der Bewegung greift er vorne gut aus, der Schub ist ausreichend, starke Hackenenge behindert jedoch das freie Gangwerk. Die Behaarung ist reichlich, seidig und lang. Der markante Rüdenkopf hat guten Stop, schön geschnittene dunkelbraune Augen, mit etwas offener Belefzung, vollständiges Scherengebiß. Jugendliches unkontrolliertes Gangwerk mit hoch getragener Rute. Das glänzende schwarze Fell ist in starker Abhaarung. Etwas ängstliches Wesen.
